Si quieres decir He aprendido mucho estos días, se dice I have learned a lot these days, pero suena mejor si sustituyes 'these last few days' o 'lately' por 'these days'.
Creo que te sobra una palabra (it).
this day = hoy en día (hoy)
today = hoy
these last few days = estos últimos días

No entiendo lo demás. Escribe la frase en español, por favor, y te la traduciré.

Aunque existe la palabra "much", debes usar "a lot" para decir "mucho".
"this" es singular, y "these" es plural:

this day = este día
these days = estos días

Aquí te faltó una sola palabra. Debe ser:

I was born in Mexico.

En inglés, no existe el verbo nacer, en su lugar se usa to be born, o ser nacido. Literalmente esta frase sería: Fui nacido en Mexico en lugar de nací en México.

Respecto a lo de hablar con alguien, sugiero que te contactes con alguien por allí donde vives que sabe el inglés. Sería una buena idea que hablaras con esa persona. También puedes escuchar música inglesa para mejorar la pronunciación entre visitas con aquella persona.

mejorás. Haz caso de las correciones.Come dijo Rusty,es una buena idea eschuchar las canciones en ingles y tratas de buscar las letras de las canciones en el internet. La mayoría están disponibles. Las canciones en inglés de antaño son excelentes para aprender inglés. El cantante principal es Frank Sinatra porque canta muy claro y la letra de sus canciones hacen sentido.
