I have heard that word in the movie.
But I'm not very sure about the translation, I don't want to give you an incorrect translation, but I have hear about that word that is interpreted as Que esta pasando.

Yes, as you have said, there're diversity of ways in that you can give an expression for a only word.

No you can't, but I can understand why you ask. That happens to adjectives, but pasando is a participle which never changes its ending.

o yes. That makes the work easier for me. I would try to memorise them ( both the present and past forms) tonight and tomorrow, someday, I know would speak fine!

You couldn't translate that literally word-for-word, because Spanish sentences can't end in a preposition. I would use "¿Qué pasa?", though there are quite a lot of variations of the expression.
