Ok, more words!

电脑
diàn nǎo
Computer

电视 (机)
diàn shì
Television

视线
shì xiàn
Sight: More accurately, "Line of Sight", because this word cannot be used as a replacement for words like "vision".

脑袋
nǎo dài
Brain

口袋
kǒu dài
Pocket

出口
chū kǒu
Exit (noun)

进口,入口
jìn kǒu, rù kǒu
Entrance

门口
mén kǒu
Doorway

门框
mén kǒu
Door frame

镜框
jìn kuāng
Two definitions: Eyeglasses frame, or picture frame

相框
xiàng kuāng
Picture frame ONLY

照相机
zhào xiàng jī
Camera

拍照, 照相
pāi zhào, zhào xiàng
To take a picture

照片
zhào piān, zhào piàn
Picture (noun)

照顾
zhào gù (Gu is actually toneless, but closest to fourth)
To take care of (usually a person)

照镜子
zhào jìng zi
To look in a mirror

照 is a word that is very difficult to grasp. It usually gives the connotation of "according to" something, or "following". For example, a sentence would be "照着这个例子,写一个句子". It means "Write a sentence following this example.", or for easier one-to-one translation, "Following this example, write a sentence". I put a comma in the Chinese sentence, although it normally isn't needed, to allow people to follow it more easily.

Now, more words.

眼睛
yǎn jīng
Eye

眼镜
yǎn jìng
(eye)glasses

世界杯
shì jiè bēi
World Cup

玻璃杯
bō lí bēi
Glass (cup)

世界末日
shì jiè mò rì
End of the world

周末
zhōu mò
Weekend

期末考试
qí mò kǎo shì
Final (exams)

一日/一号
yī rì/yī hào
The first (of a month)

Feel free to ask questions about any word or specific character!

Mistakes in my vocabulary list

门框
mén kuāng

Also, the word pāi in "pāi 照, pāi zhào" doesn't want to show up.

It is the radical 扌with 白。 扌白, just space them closer together.

I am ridiculously peeved right now because I just spent about ½ hour typing a new post about numbers and the word "打" (unrelated). I then accidentally hit "Alt+Left Arrow Key" in tandem, causing me to go back to the last web page I visited and completely erasing everything I wrote. Estoy muy molesto (¿molestado?).
I won't have time the next couple of days probably. It'll either be tomorrow or next week.
We'll see, but look forward to that post!

打 literally means "to hit", but it means a lot more than that, which was why I was going to write an entire post based around that word.

Do you mean the Chinese characters? There is pinyin software installed on most computers (Microsofts Pinyin input method is the best out of all of them).
I, personally, use Sogou Pinyin (I believe the link is http://pinyin.sogou.com/ ). Just click the big yellow button on the page. I believe there is a choice for English installation. When you come to page with a bunch of boxes that you can check, uncheck all of them because they are all useless downloads.

If you mean pinyin, I edited the US international keyboard a little bit in order to get the first and third tone characters.
Here is my edited version of US International Keyboard.
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/4/...98/romanpy.zip
Go into the file and choose "setup" to install the keyboard into your computer. I set it to "Spanish", so if you go into Microsoft Word, the spell check will change to Spanish; you will have to manually change it back to the language you want. Alt+Shift changes your keyboard language (if you want to switch between Spanish and English). There should be a language bar somewhere on your computer, whether floating around on down at the taskbar.

You can still get normal European accents (circumflex, grave, and acute accents, Umlauts, etc.).
First tone is Underscore (_) or dash (-) plus the vowel.
second tone is the same as acute accent, using the apostrophe (') and then the vowel.
Third tone is Alt+6 (the six has the carat above it in most US keyboards) plus vowel.
Fourth tone is either the top left key (`) or reverse slash (\) plus vowel. Fourth tone is also the grave accent.

I will try to get in that post tonight, but no guarantees.

Tengo una sitio de Web muy buena para tí.
http://www.mandarintools.com/worddict.html
Es un sitio donde puedes buscar para una palabra inglés, china, o pinyin, y te dará las otras dos.
Debes probarlo.

1 – 一 (yī)
2 – 二 (èr)
2 – 两 (liǎng) <--- This 2 is for counting amounts, instead of 二 (èr), which is used for placement and order (i.e. First, second, third, etc.). 二 (èr) is also used within more complex numbers, as you will see below.
3 – 三 (sān)
4 – 四 (sì)
5 – 五 (wǔ)
6 – 六 (lìu)
7 – 七 (qī)
8 – 八 (bā)
9 – 九 (jǐu)
10 – 十 (shí)
12 – 十二 (shí èr) – Note that 二 (èr) is used, not 两 (liǎng).

Note that third tone numbers, ie. 两 (liǎng), 五 (wǔ), 九 (jǐu), become second tone when in front of 百 (bǎi)

For order, you put 第 (dì) in front of a number.
First – 第一 (dì yī)
Second – 第二 (dì èr)
Third – 第三 (dì sān)
etc etc.
