Until recently the easily accessible sources on the more private side of Perri's life have presented rather an unbalanced picure; for interest in Perri the man was largely confined to the more orthodox and straightlaced of his followers, who edited their collection of reminiscences accordingly. But now the recent spate of scholarly recollections reprinted below give (together with Perri's voluminouus correspondence) the best picture of him as a person. Of course, this reminiscences were written some thrity or even forty years after the event, and here particulary 'Perri's' favourite maxim, de omnibus dubitandum, is in order. This caution is all the more necessary as the picture of his that emerges from the texts below is, at first sight at least, by no means a unified one. Indeed, there seem to be four distinct Perris. First, there is the absent-minded bohemian intellectual, then t he ruthless, practical schemer bent on wholesale domination; then the highly cultured English gentleman with a rather distant air and wry sense of humour; and finally the warm-hearted family man, lover of children and animals.

Hasta recientemente las facilmente fuentes accesibles en el mas lado privado de la vida de Senor Perri han constitruido en panorama tendencioso; por el interes in Senor Perri el hombre estuvo reducido en gran a mas ortodoxia y mas puritano de los seguidores, quienes editaron sus colecciones de las remembranzas en consecuencia. Pero ahora la avalancha reciente de las publicaciones eruditas ofrecen un mas matiz panorama. Las entrevistas y los recuerdos reimprimieron debajo dan (todos juntos con la correspondencia voluminoso de Senor Perri) el panorama lo mejor como una prsona. Claro, esta vision n mas puede ser que una impresion. Muchos estos recuerdos fueron escribieron unos treinta o hasta cuarenta anos despues el acontecimiento, y qui particularmente la maxima favorita, de omnibus dubitandum, esta en desordanada. Esta cautela esta todos el mas necesario como la imagen del Senor Perri que aprecen de los textos debajo esta, a primera vista, ni mucho menos uno unifico. Es mas, parece ser cuatro los Perris. Primero, esta el distraido intelectual bohemio; despues el despiado y practico intrigantge empenado en la dominacion sistematico; despues el muy poco refinado caballero Ingles con un prefiero distante aire y un ironico sentido de humor; y finalmente el carinoso padre de familia, amante de los ninos y de las ninas y los animales.

Senorita Angelica, I cannot find the accents menu or probably I might have overlooked them. I really don't know what to do. Can I give the moderator the right to do it for us?
