Thanks Rusty, with that link I was able to find the pronunciation. It's basically "pa" with a barely pronounced nasal n at the end.
@Iris Why? Well, I'm just trying to re-learn the few French words I used to know. You never know, you might need them someday. ![]() Thanks Marsopa, I agree, you don't really hear the end.

I think in English, the nasal sound in "pain" would be like a very stressed (more acute) vocal in "Fang" and "n" is not pronounced...
