I've heard both but mostly "almanaque". At one point I was wondering if they were similar in meaning to Calendar and Almanac.......
Come to think of it, I'm still wondering! ![]() ![]()

I have almost never heard "almanaque" in Mexico, but when it's used, it's very commonly a syonym for "calendario".
However a "calendario" only shows the month and day, but an "almanaque" also contains data like holidays (official and religious), information on the saint name of the day, the phases of the moon... I have also seen the word "almanaque" used for a yearbook with economic and political data.
