Leaden
This is the leaden truth of the matter.
Esta es la indiscutible realidad del asunto. Esta es la triste realidad del asunto. Esta es la cruda realidad del asunto. Esta es la verdad sin paliativos del asunto. Esta es la sólida realidad del asunto. leaden: absolute or indisputable, figuratively as if solidly made of lead, a heavy metal used for making pipes, radiation shields, etc. We all supposedly have the ability to transform our leaden reality into a golden one... (talking about "alchemy"...) Se supone que podemos transformar nuestra prosaica realidad en una [realidad] dorada [de oro]... Pero también está esta definición: leaden 2. dull, spiritless, or gloomy, as in mood or thought: leaden prose; a leaden atmosphere. ¿Qué traducción sería la mejor? ¿Alguna otra idea?
