Not really. Jane corrected it, but it still doesn't make a lot of grammatical sense.

It makes a little more sense with some accents:
La próxima vez que me veas, comunícate conmigo. No seas cobarde.

The next time you see me, speak with me. Don't be afraid.
Don't be afraid to speak with me the next time I see you.

Does Ser corbarde translate as to be afraid or to be a coward or both?

To be a coward.

Thanks Rusty. I actually thought it was saying "comunicarte conmigo", that's why I said it wasn't very grammatical.

Yes, I think "don't be afraid" sounds a little "soft" for "no seas cobarde"
It's more "don't be a chicken" or "don't be a coward"
For "don't be afraid" we usually say "atrévete/ inténtalo / animáte, etc"
saludos

But, sosia if you'll say it to somebody coward, I think what sound very strong the word, but if you'll say don't be afraid to somebody, it sound less strong and people won't offence.

I thought it a little harsh for one friend to say to another, so I went with the softer "don't be afraid." But, tienes razón, cobarde se traduce por coward.
