Made for

¿Cómo se dice..?

"He wants to be the person he was made to be."
"Quiere ser la persona para que estuviera hecha."

"He wants to do the things he was made for."
"Quiere hacer las cosas para las que estuvo hecha."

These are really hard sentences for me to translate, please help
Thanks

And what does exactly mean "to be made to be something"? There are lot of Spanish expressions that sound a lot alike but, do they express the same? I googled and found no instance of "He wants to be the person he was made to be", similar phrases or partial ones.

For example he wants to use his gifts and talents that he's been born with. If he's been blessed with musical ability for example he wants to use this "be the person he was made to be."

Hmmm , that's a tough one.

A translation that is closer to the original phrase is: "Quiere ser aquello para lo que nació", but it's an uncommon wording. I would better expect something like "Quiere llegar a ser aquello para lo que fue destinado" (speaking of natural gifts) or "Quiere llegar a ser aquello para lo que tanto se preparó" (speaking of callings and study or training).
