How far.....?
Sometimes I have trouble with how far in English?
FOr example.: How far is the beach? or how far away is the beach? How far is London from Paris? or how far is it from London to Paris? How far are the Pyrenees? how far are the Alps from here? Is it far to Plaza del Sol? Is it far from here to Plaza del Sol? How far is

These two questions sound more complete: "How far away are the Pyrenees?" "How far are the Pyrenees from here?"
