work oneself into such a state
¿Cómo se dice...?
"She worked herself into such a state, it took her ages to calm down." "Se puso muy nerviosa y le tardó muy en calmarse." I looked up how to say "get into a state" in Spanish and it said "ponerse nervioso" but is there another way because "nervioso" really translates as "nervous" and when I say "a state" I mean she was really upset/ cross and was uncontrollably crying, not at all nervous! |
