G'day and ¡Hola!

Llamame Tazzie. Soy de Tasmania, Australia. Yo vivo en Los Estados Unidos en California. I have recently began teaching myself español, so I am going to need muchos ayuda.

I am going to apply to a College here in Norther California to study Spanish for two years. I have been studying on my own for six months.

I get shy using the little Spanish I do know. I did use Spanish to order a coffee in Starbucks recently . I tend to forget all my Spanish when I'm nervous and speaking to a native of the language

So, a big gidday, or g'day to everyone. I can't wait to see what this forum has to offer. ¡Luego!

Welcome Tazzie, & it's been awhile since I've heard "G'day" - I used to say it myself until people here in the US took it to mean something like I was telling them to "die"; maybe my accent was too strong!

Hola Glen. Vivo en Los Estados Unidos también I could imagine some Aussies making a harmless greeting sound like a death threat: 'godie mate.' Lmao! That's too funny. My accent has never been that strong, even for a Tasmanian. I practised saying it with marbles in mi boca first

¿Dónde viver ahora m8? I mean where in the U.S.? Vivo en California. I have lived in North Carolina, entonces Colorado, entonces Dallas Fort worth, Texas y entonces Southern California, y ahora, the Bay Area Northern Cali, respectively.

Estoy cansado mate! Mi esposa o, mi ex esposa has kept us on the move with her trabajo. I don't think I have another move left in me

Hola Speedy.

Mucho gusto Wrholt
