Spanish word - Unscrewing

Hey

Is there another word for 'unscrewing' in spanish that's not as long as 'desatornillando'?

Maybe some shorter variation?

Thanks

What is the context/meaning? I ask, because you most likely have the wrong form and may have the wrong word.

Unscrewing as an action, like 'I am unscrewing this panel using a screwdriver'

"Desatornillar" is the right verb, and "desatornillando" the right action. No shorter form.

I'm unscrewing =
estoy desatornillando (in the process of) -or-
desatornillo (not in the very process of, or explaining the action)
