			Where did you see this?  Do you have some context? I've never heard it before. John's house = la casa de John It is very popular to call the bathroom, or toilet (el baño, o el váter) the john (in England, the equivalent is the loo). John, in England, is a word used for any male, kind of like bloke. |

			Ok, I'd found it. It`s an outside toylet. The phrase is: " One of the first tasks I set about was the digging of a new latrine pit closer to the cabin, and the moving and roofing of the johnhouse itself." Thanks to all, mates!
