madrugar (verb) — to get up early. Look up madrugar in the dictionary

Tuve que madrugar hoy porque mi vuelo salía a las 4 am.
I had to get up early today because my flight left at 4 am.

A propósito de este tema, o mejor por el contrario de él.. Hay una palabra/ verbo para expresar que a uno le gusta quedarse despierto/a por la noche? (to be a nightowl, to go to sleep late at night e.g.)

Habéis dicho que 'Al que madruga, Dios le ayuda', pero hay otro refrán contradictorio: 'No por mucho madrugar, amanece más temprano'. El segundo es el que sigo yo, porque ahora que estoy de vacaciones, se me pegan las sábanas de una manera... Estoy relajada al máximo Que se lo digan a mi báscula

En todo caso "al que madruga, Dios lo ayuda, pero también le da o sigue con mucho sueño"

Vosotros sois más respetuosos que nosotros con los pronombres átonos de objeto directo. A nosotros, desde que nos dijeron que algunos estaban permitidos por la RAE (como el comentado en otro hilo "le" por "lo")..., vamos, que nos han dado "alegría p'al cuerpo" (intento evitarlo, pero no siempre lo consigo, está muy extendido en España, en todas las regiones)

hmm... no tiene na' que ver con el respeto, pero sí con sueño...
