Lightbulb Por petición de

ENGLISH?
Ejemplo:
Vamos a ver de nuevo la secuencia por/a petición de vuestra compañera Rita.
En petición de tendría otro significado
Ej. Hizó huelga de hambre en petición de asilo.
Can anybody give the 2 equivalents in English?

We're going to see the sequence again at your colleague Rita's request.

She went on hunger strike to demand asylum. (Aquí "request" me parece demasiado débil).

A petition is a formal request, and often used in legal jargon. (He put in a petition for asylum while awaiting deportation.)

Commonly a petition is a request signed by many people in order to get
a politician enrolled in a race--or any form signed by many people requesting a change in something or other.

It is also used like that in Spanish.
