Having just read the thread on Spoonerisms and watched the video that Rusty posted, I thought you all might like this classic sketch by Abbot & Costello. Enjoy.

who — first base what — second base I don't know — third base why — left field tomorrow — pitcher today — catcher I don't care — shortstop

Totally enjoyable. Is this also considered "slapstick" comedy?
Sometimes there are very old, old programs on TV that I love to watch and I think WC Fields was a big user of spoonerisms, don't you think? Very nice.
