Lines From a poem by Machado

I found "Tomisimo" when MSN closed its talkboards; I had been Ast Manager of a board called "Basic Spanish". A contributor on there had asked me for a translation of some lines from a Machado poem. They were beautiful words about a cool stream gurgling through the boughs of a shady forest on hot day. Regretably I lost both the original Spanish and the English words - I forgot to 'cut and paste' before the boards closed!

Can anyone identify the poem from the scant information I've provided, I'd be so grateful if anyone could help!

I found a webpage with some of his poems (be careful, there are many spelling errors)... maybe you will recognise those lines there...

Could it be "Orillas del Duero"?

Quote:

Girando en torno a la torre y al caserón solitario;

ante la azul lejanía;
sol del día, claro día!
¡Hermosa tierra de España!

Interesting "exercise"... I give you below another little section of a poem, but it doesn't look (to me) that the one Angelica gave you or the one I am giving you here actually match your description...
(Probably if you remember some of the Spanish words, would be easier to find it 'googling it'... ?)
