'You couldn't help liking her like that'
Yo estoy por traducirla así:
'No podrías ayudarla dado que te gusta así'

"No podrías evitar que te agrade/ara* cuando (está/se pone/un largo etcétera) así"

@Glen: But the sentence says the person who's talking is the one who likes the girl, not the girl who likes the speaker... :thinking:

"No podía menos que gustarte así." Might rescue the idea using the structure you proposed. :)
