SWAT team
What would be a good Spanish translation for "SWAT team".
(I remember that the TV Series title was never translated, so we use to refer to it as "ESGUAT" or "ESVUAT", when we referred to it...) Any standard current way to talk about it. In talking about "white blood cells" (glóbulos blancos) acting like a "SWAT team" against germs, how would you say that in Spanish? Actuando como un equipo de policías especiales...? (Any way to say it sounding less "bulky"?) |
"SWAT team" acá es GEOF (Policía Federal) o "grupo" Halcón (Policía de la Provincia de Buenos Aires).
Se puede decir que los glóbulos blancos actúan como "escuadrón táctico", o algo así. |

Aquí tenemos los GEO (Grupo de Operaciones Especiales). By the way, I love the S.W.A.T. soundtrack. |
Gracias a los dos... (he corregido el error tipográfico de "policías")
Yes, the soundtrack is something cool! |
