Into the Future

How would one say "into the future" as in, "These problems continued into the future."?

Yo diría "Estos problemas continuaron hasta el futuro".

"...en el futuro." It already gives an idea of an ongoing situation.

@Sancho: Se entendería en contexto, pero es una construcción extraña. "Hasta" queda mejor en situaciones donde el marco temporal es preciso, pero "futuro" es un concepto más bien vago. :thinking:
