Johnhouse
Is it something like a logs cabin?
It's a new word for me. help will be appreciated.:) |
Where did you see this? Do you have some context?
I've never heard it before. John's house = la casa de John It is very popular to call the bathroom, or toilet (el baño, o el váter) the john (in England, the equivalent is the loo). John, in England, is a word used for any male, kind of like bloke. |
The first thing that came to my mind was.......loo, bathroom, toilet, etc.

I agree with the others. "johnhouse" doesn't mean anything. John is a first name, john (not capitalized) can mean bathroom or a prostitute's customer. Also, John House was a 19th century US congressman. If you give use some more context we can help more. |
Maybe
Maybe it's a combination!
JOHN + OUTHOUSE = JOHNHOUSE :D |
Ok, I'd found it.
It`s an outside toylet. The phrase is: " One of the first tasks I set about was the digging of a new latrine pit closer to the cabin, and the moving and roofing of the johnhouse itself." Thanks to all, mates! |
An outside toilet is called an outhouse.
