I agree the paper dictionary would be quicker (any suggestions?), but this would be for home use, watching tv or reading the newspaper when I need help on a word.

this has probably been asked before, but what would you all recommend for those hand held translators that are reasonably priced? i've seen several, but would like to get feedback.

I agree it should be done out of love. That would coincide with biblical principles. Personally, I wouldn't pay for any debt they have created out of carelessness or greed. But if they need an hand...

no, that is a different verb. convirtir means to pull off or convert.

convirtir is not in the dictionary. I have seen it used a lot in the sports section, especially with the mundial. e.g. Italia se convirtio en la gran estrella indiscutible...

it's the announcer talking up the station--like 103.5 plays the best music, etc. also I have heart the word 'trancaso' which I don't know the meaning.
