Hasta que salga el sol

In Don Omar's new song he says "hasta que salga el sol" which is supposed to translate to "until the sun rises". Question is why didn't he say "hasta que sale el sol" instead?

I am thinking...

Quisiera decir "I am waiting for you to come to Los Angeles" en español. Pongo esta frase en Google Traductor, el resultado fue "Estoy esperando a que venga a Los Angeles". ¿Esta es correcto?

How do you use dejar + que to say "let me...", do I use the form:

dejar (imperative) + que + (subjunctive)

It could be grammatically correct but I have not heard the construct "it may be we are able to see him" used in daily native speech often, perhaps it's a bit formal :) "we may be able to see him"...
