Also, the word pāi in "pāi 照, pāi zhào" doesn't want to show up.

It is the radical 扌with 白。 扌白, just space them closer together.

What do you mean, English has words for everything? 1) English does not, it loans thousands, if not tens or hundreds of thousands from other languages. 2) Err, other languages have lots of words too...
