Deductible

A deductible is an expense that must be reached before insurance pays. I use the word deducible. Awhile ago someone said it should be franquicia. What is commonly used in Spanish speaking countries?

According to the dictionary, the term should be "franquicia", but in Mexico it's "deducible". Legal and economic terms depend on the country.

If you were in Mexico, you pay the "deducible" and the insurance company will pay the rest.
