Correct match with word and meaning?

*sustenance - tbe means of support or subsistence; nourishment?
*tenure - the time during which something is held; a permanent right to an office or position after a trial period?

Nope, but I'm being picky. There are actually three correct answers on number 5.
Listed, in the order they appear in several online dictionaries, these are correct answers:
slavery, forced labor, compulsary or compelled service


There are errors in the other stuff you added after my first post, as well.
In the first group of eight, numbers 3 and 6 are wrong.
There are no mistakes in the second group of eight.

Rusty is right. Do not be tricked by the fact that servitude and service look similar. Servitude could be thought of as a type of service, but they really aren't synonymous. Now, when you have multiple choice questions, you usually should pick the best answer if there is more than one right answer. My personal preference would be the best answer is forced labor, second best slavery and third would be service.

ok thanks for helping me! I hope I do well on the 100 point test tomorrow. The first one (Unit 1-3) I got a 92 (an A).
I just need to work on the analogies..
