These are all correct in your context, but unfortunately, that's also the way I'd say it if
he (actually) came to cook me".
In order to avoid missunderstandings like this that could get you in real trouble because it's illegal to cook anothe human being


, we normally say things like
"Él vino/venía a ayudarme en la cocina", "Él vino/venía a cocinar para mí".
However the first sentences are used in everyday language. You might get a funny answer from someone every now and then, but it's not too bad, we know what we're talking about.
