¿Alguien sabe la etimología de esta expresión?

Una "gugleada" me dice que viene del caló "bute" que significa "mucho", pero no lo analicé en profundidad.

También me dice que es un lunfardismo originado en el caló español ("bute, de buten, de bute") y que origina "rebute" ("misho de rebute" ---> más pobre que una rata), pero acá son términos que probablemente estén casi extintos ("carancambomba se hizo al mar con su bandera, y en un pernó mezcló Paris con Puente Alsina, fuiste compadre del bailón y de la mina, y hasta acomodo del bacán y la pebeeetaaaa ..... por vos yuyeta qué agarreo y mishiadura ...")
