Hola guys.

Hi, so for the past month or so I've been learning Spanish using a web service. My dad worked in Africa as an oil engineer and learned Portuguese there, but he's becoming unreliable as it was 12 years ago, and of course the differences between the two languages.

So, then I tried to get my friend to join the service with me, but he bailed on it because I guess he really just wasn't interested. So, I've been doing it on my own, but I wish I had more people to chat with, so I searched up "learning spanish forums" and you were up here.

I hope to eventually gain some help and encouragement from being here, so Hi! I'm worried I'm too basic for this site, currently I am learning basic prepositions, if I am too basic for this site, I'll come back later when I'm better.

Hola/Hello MedicoQue and bienvenido/Welcome al forum. My name is Villa. Nice to meet you.
You are not too basic. There is no such thing as too basic on this forum. There is actually much more English being
spoken on this forum than Spanish so how could anybody be too basic on here?
Any way we will help you learn Spanish. There are many experts on this forum for teaching Spanish.
Where are you from?

Hi, I live in South Texas, I wanted to learn French, but I decided that I would get more use & chances to practice if I spoke Spanish. I already kind of like Spanish because it just flows along prettier than English. ("la cena" sounds much prettier than "the dinner")

MedicoQue.

I'm a Mexican with learning in English, since the last five years ago I have learned the language in Internet with a little to help from my brother. Sometimes I have tried to learn or I mean to speak likes an English native but I know that is impossible.

The the best for learn a language is pratice all the days I did it during the pass of the years and you believe me It's worked much for me.
