¿Hay alguna diferencia entre estas dos frases?
  • una bola de granizo
  • una piedra de granizo

Para mí, una bola de granizo es como una bola de nieve: hecha del granizo que ha caído y que he juntado con la mano para darle forma. Una piedra de granizo sería cada grano que ha caído, y supongo que de tamaño más bien grande para que amerite el nombre.
