This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for December 16, 2008
bajo - masculine noun (el) - bass guitar, low. Look up bajo in the dictionary Voy a comprarme un bajo de cinco cuerdas para aprender a tocar. I'm going to buy myself a five-string bass to learn how to play.

When used as an adjective, the word means short. The meaning given was for the noun.
