This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for August 21, 2009
viña (feminine noun (la)) — vineyard. Look up viña in the dictionary Una viña es una plantación de vides que produce uvas. A vineyard is plantation of grape-bearing vines.

Agree with Maria José, but there is an usage of viña as vinyard too.
Ej: "Me voy a trabajar a la viña" ór "Mi viña hace los mejores tintos" they are speaking about the whole vineyard, not about an specific vine ("viña") Saludos ![]()
