I'd say "ensalada verde".
"Verdura" (verdura-hoja verde) are always green vegetables (judías, guisantes, coliflor, acelgas, etc.). Vegetables which are not green are called "hortalizas" (pimientos, berenjenas, calabacín, calabaza, etc.). I don't know if it's the same in other countries. ![]() |

In Mexico we call all of those "verduras". We use "hortaliza" usually only for the place where they're cultivated.
Some people lately call them "vegetales", but that's an influence from English, because a "vegetal" can be also non-edible plants.

Thanks, Angelica. It's good to know that vegetales in Spanish is not the same as vegetables in English in which the term applies to all edible leaves/fruits only.
