ACT score
well I got my scores for the ACT today....I got a 25. the best is a 36. I didn't do so well on the writing nor the science but I did well on math (26), English (25) and reading (27)

yeah my mom said it was a good score, not very good but not very bad either :S but I don't know what colleges would let me in with that score.

That score should be good for a lot of state schools. For the more elite schools, high 20's is required at a minimum. You can take the test again. I improved my score 5 points from the first time to 2nd time just because I was more familiar with the test. Sign up and give it another go.
Some of the books like Princeton and stuff do help. I bet if you got one of those books, looked it over, and took the test again you could raise your score another 3-5 points. That would make a huge difference in admissions. For my alma mater (University of Tennessee) - I think you'll find that is probably average for most public universities. Average enrolled freshman GPA: 3.78 Average enrolled ACT: 26.4 Last edited by Awaken; September 29, 2010 at 06:56 AM. Reason: Added some stats

Congratulation for your scores.
I guess you did a great endeavour for get that results in your quiz. Although you didn't get much points for something is sure, you did the best it.
