Tips for memorizing a poem

Can someone give me tips on memorizing a poem?? I am bad at memorizing and I want a good grade on this.

Thanks in advance. so far I have only the first line memorized

and I am presenting Tuesday, fourth one

here is the poem

Blackberry Picking By Seamus Heaney

Late August, given heavy rain and sun
For a full week, the blackberries would ripen.
At first, just one, a glossy purple clot
Among others, red, green, hard as a knot.
You ate that first one and its flesh was sweet
Like thickened wine: summer's blood was in it
Leaving stains upon the tongue and lust for
Picking. Then red ones inked up and that hunger
Sent us out with milk cans, pea tins, jam-pots
Where briars scratched and wet grass bleached our boots.
Round hayfields, cornfields and potato-drills
We trekked and picked until the cans were full,
Until the tinkling bottom had been covered
With green ones, and on top big dark blobs burned
Like a plate of eyes. Our hands were peppered
With thorn pricks,
our palms sticky as Bluebeard's.

We hoarded the fresh berries in the byre.
But when the bath was filled we found a fur,
A rat-gray fungus, glutting on our cache.
The juice was stinking too. Once off the bush
The fruit fermented, the sweet flesh would turn sour.
I always felt like crying. It wasn't fair
That all the lovely canfuls smelt of rot.
Each year I hoped they'd keep, knew they would not.

I think that you should to repeat and repeat the poem, so you will can memorize the poem, I did do that in the school with the Mathematics threads with my teacher when he placed me a homeworks very hard to learn in a only day.

sosia has a spectacular aura aboutsosia has a spectacular aura about
write the first three sentences. Learn them. Sing them.
When you think you know the first three, write the first 3 and three more.
If you make the tinniest mistake writing the 3 first, then go back to the beginning.
And so on.
Don't do it all in the same day. Focused, for example, to learn 6 sentences everyday.
At the beginning of the day, you must perfect write all the sentences you already know. otherwise, go back.
In a week, you're done.
saludos
basically: reapeat, repeat, repeat.

Then you're doing a great endeavor in the learning of the poems.
I think that should to repeat and repeat at least ten times the phrase that you need to learn, but when I tell you that you should to repeat and repeat it should to be in your mind, and well you keep to learning the language.

that's too much :/

I have fourteen lines memorized. I usually do two at a time, then I add the two to the ones I already know, say it out loud over and over then when I have it, move on
