Question Ejercicio 24-5

This chapter is about "Indefinite and Negative Words and Expressions". The instructions for this particular exercise simply required me to answer questions in Spanish. Please correct my answers, in bold text.

1) ¿Conoces a alguien en Australia?
Sí, conozco algunas personas en Australia.

2) ¿Tienes algún amigo especial?
Sí, tengo muchos amigos especiales.

3) ¿Has visitado alguna vez algún país interesante?
Sí, he visitado muchas veces algunos paises interesantes.

4) ¿Estudias siempre al amanecer?
Nunca estudio al amanecer.

5) ¿Vas siempre al cine los sábados por la tarde?
A veces voy al cine los sábados por la tarde.

6) ¿Te ayuda alguien a hacer los ejercicios de este libro?
Sí, algunas personas me ayudan a hacer los ejercicios de este libro.

7) ¿Haces algo para evitar el cansancio?
Sí, hago algo para evitar el cansancio. Me duermo para evitar el cansancio.

8) ¿Tienes algunas ideas para ganar más dinero?
No tengo ninugna idea para ganar más dinero.

9) ¿Has respondido jamás tantas preguntas personales?
¡No! Nunca he respondido tantas preguntas personales.

10) ¿Tienes algo importante que hacer después de terminar este ejercicio?
Sí, después de terminar este ejercicio tengo que dormirme.

It's the difference between "I fall asleep" (me duermo) vs. "I sleep" (duermo).

- paises -> países
- ninugna -> ninguna

Fantastic - great catch on that ninguna error. Of course, I wrote it correctly in my book. I can never remember that both "país" and "países" have accents....

"Error" is not a feminine noun.

"Países" keeps the accent of "país" because it breaks the diphtong.

Syllables are:
Pa·ís
Pa·í·ses

diphthong. We keep both the ph for φ and th for θ.

I tend to forget the written accent on países, too. I just thought of a silly mnemonic: ¡Todas las países llevan sus banderas!
