OOOOOOPS. Parangaricutirimicuaro.Is this a city in Mexico. When I first started picking up Spanish a few years ago, the guys told me they would teach me if I could say this word. Of course, I had a challenge so I learned how to say it to show them I was "the man" I heard it is a city. Also they have like two or three different ways of saying it at the end. Just curious how common this is or if it is a tongue twister. I know a whole bunch of these silly things now. It's good for practicing pronunciation though

This is a native American word. Throughout the Americas some of the most prominent cities, regions, rivers and have countries with native American names. I agree that some in Mexico are hard to get you tongue around and others are challenging to spell, but the USA has some challenging ones too like Tchoupitoulas.
