Adonde miro es un desastre. = Everywhere I look it's a mess.

Adonde miro hay un desastre = Everywhere I look there is a disaster.

No. Cualquiera es igual. "desmadre" no es una palabra mala o fea.

@Glen: "Desmadre" sí es una mala palabra en México, y sí, el eufemismo que usa mucha gente es "despapaye"... algunos usan también "despiporre", y es muy probable que también escuches "relajo".
