¿Cómo se dice..?
"membership" (at a swimming pool) "Carné de socio" ???? "I want to stop my membership here." "Quiero parar mi carné de socio." ??? "Have you stopped your membership? I think you have to do it one month before you stop paying." ¿Has parado tu carné de socio? Creo que hay que hacerlo un mes antes de dejar de pagarlo."

Desde hace unos pocos años se ha popularizado el término "membresía", a algunos no les satisface. Un "carné de socio" es el carné físico. Así pues, la gente puede suspender un contrato; pero nadie es capaz de "*parar un carné de socio*".
Quiero cancelar mi membresía. Un saludo.

Agreed on cancelar la membresía. Creo que ahora se acepta con "c" también: membrecía.
