Probablamente eso es lo que significa, pero en actualidad refiere a cositas como figurinas o cualquiera cosa pequeña que gente colecta y poner en una estanteria o colgar en la pared.

These are actually the small trinkets (ornamental figurines, souvenirs, etc.) that people collect and display in their homes. The word comes from the French bric-à-brac (expression of confusion). It can be spelled with the grave accent, or without, but it is usually hyphenated.
These are more commonly called knickknacks (knicknacks) or curios. |
