¿Qué es la diferencia entre,

Foros para el aprendiendo (-ing) de español
y
Foros para el aprendizaje (-?) de español

¿Los dos son mismo o no?

-ando/-iendo are verb endings.
-zaje is an ending added to a verb to make it into a noun.

e.g. aterrizar-infinitive aterrizando-continuous ending (landing as in "the plane is landing) atterizaje - noun ending added to verb (The landing) El aterrizaje fue suave/the landing was smooth.

Foros para el aprendiendo isn't correct Spanish, by the way.
Foros para aprender means forums for learning. The English gerund is usually expressed with the Spanish infinitive.

The imperfect works better.
Forget gerunds in Spanish. Generally the infinitive is used instead.
However, the present progressive, which respembles the gerund in English,
is used a lot in Spanish. Examples: ¿Estás escuchándome? Sí te estoy eschuchando. You are free to attach a direct or indirect object pronoun to the present progressive word if you wish.

So básicamente, yo uso -ando y -iendo en el presente progresivo, (Cuando la acción es en el presente (taking place at this moment, (lo siento, no estudía el presente progresivo todavia)

Do you mean "I was doing something while you were talking? If that ls what you mean, I suppose you can, but it sounds awkward. to me at least. Example: Yo estaba echuchado a la música mientras estabas hablando.

No, I was trying to say "Can't you use '(I) was doing [something]" when you are talking about an action that was in progress in the past.

e.g.: I was mowing the lawn when you tried to call me last night.

El "presente progresivo" no existe en español. Estáis hablando de perífrasis verbales. Hay alrededor de 140 perífrasis verbales y se habla de "conjugación perifrástica". Hay varios grupos, con clases y subclases. La perífrasis verbal se compone de, al menos, dos formas verbales: una auxiliar y una no personal (infinitivo, gerundio o participio).

Voy a estudiar
Estoy estudiando
Lo he dado por estudiado.
