It's
"Please send some photos/sketches to understand what we are talking about." or "Please send some photos/sketches to understand what are we talking about" I'm tryong to say: "Mándame algunas fotos/dibujos para entender de qué estamos hablando" I know it'a a literall translation, but......

The first one is correct.
I might say: Please send me some photos/sketches to help me understand what we are talking about.
