Los Ilthianes

¡Hola a todos!

I am attempting to translate some writing of mine into Spanish for practice. I chose it for two reasons: One, it is real and sometimes complex writing, as opposed to normal simple exercises. Two, I hope I might entertain a few people with the story in the process. I will post new parts of the story as I am able to translate them, and I will try to learn from all the corrections people may make.

Please try to keep the laughter to a minimum. I know my attempts at translation are pitiful.

Any corrections would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

P.S. Does anyone know how to make the table cells use vertical align="top"? I know the HTML but not the code for the forums.

P.P.S. If anyone is wondering about the title, "Ilthian" is a word I made up that is used in the book. I bastardized it into Spanglish for the purposes of translation.

Elaina will become famous soon enough

My feeble attempt. The last sentence doesn't seem to fit....something missing.

Let me know what you think of the translation. I had to add some words just for the sake of getting the message across.

That was my attempt while reading your version. If you have any doubt about this, tell me please.
