Aquí decimos más "periquito", en lugar de perico.

Es bonito el guacamayo, pero tiene un pico...

Bueno, aquí un perico es más grande que un periquito.
"Periquito" se usa más para los australianos.

El pico del guacamayo es enorme y poderoso, pero suelen ser criaturas muy tiernas y querendonas... cuando están de buenas.

@Poli: El mexicanismo (muy coloquial) "guácala" es el equivalente de "yuck". El verbo coloquial para "vomitar" es "guacarear".


Poca gente sabría qué es "tafanario" por aquí.
