Help with revision?

I wrote some sentences for my morning routine and I would be really glad if anyone could help me correct them! Please don't mind the words that don't have accents, I'll be memorizing them so it won't matter.

1. Me despierto a las cinco y media de la manana.
2.Yo tengo sueno entonces me duermo para cinco minutos mas.
3. Finalmente, me levanto pero todavia me siento cansada.
4. Despues de levantarme, me visto la ropa.
5. Yo necesito preparar la ropa para la pista de carrera despues de la escuela.
6. Yo necesito cepillarme los dientes y lavarme la cara.
7. Luego, me maquillo usar la sombra de ojos y a veces el lapiz de labios.
8. Me peino y arreglarme el pelo para diez minutos.
9. Despues de peinarme, yo como desayuna. Yo como los huevos y bebo la leche.
10. Finalmente, yo ir la escuela!

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums!

You'll do yourself a big favor by learning the correct spelling (like mañana and todavía) and punctuation (like ¡...!). There's an 'Accents' drop-down menu just above where you type. From it you can select all the special characters you'll need to write properly in Spanish.

I've marked some things that need corrected in red. When you use the first-person subject pronoun in the present indicative tense, you're adding emphasis where none is usually meant.

There are other ways to say a few of the things you wrote. We can point those out to you when you post your corrected sentences. If you have questions about why something is marked, just ask.

Thanks for the pointers, they really helped me out! Could you give me an example where I've incorrectly used the first-person subject pronoun in the present indicative tense? I'm pretty horrific at grammar in the first place. >.<

Every time you used 'Yo'. That's why they're enclosed in parentheses.

The regular verb ending, '-o' in the present tense, conveys the first-person, so there's no reason to specify the first-person subject pronoun 'yo'.

hablar (Conjugation into the present indicative tense)

The subject pronouns don't need to be said in the first and second persons. (That's why they're embedded in parentheses.) The verb ending is unique and conveys the person.
In the third person, however, the ending is not unique and the subject pronoun clarifies your meaning.
