Hi, why is the article required in the first sentence but not the second?
Me gusta el español por diferentes razones. Tengo muchas razones para aprender español . Thanks.

Spanish is the subject of the first sentence, so the article is required.
After the verb 'aprender', it's not necessary to use the article.
