I look at it differently.
When I scan a book, a letter, a page, etc., it is the information that they contain that I'm interested in. And you want to know where I got that scanned information from. You're after the source of the information. I think that "Could you also provide which sources you used" gets you the answer you're seeking. If a book was scanned, the name of the book would be the source. If it is a paper, the citation should detail the source of the information that was on the paper. |
