En el recodo del molino viejo

Hola a todos,

In a scene in the movie Carne de horca, Juan Pablo plans to organize a fake kidnapping of his father and discusses it with his friends.

- Comprendido. ¿Llevará mucho dinero?
- Ninguno.
- ¿Entonces?
- Aún no he terminado.

So what is "recodo del molino viejo"? Is that the old mill that's at the bend in the road? If so, why not keep the father at the mill (Esconderéis a mi padre en cualquier sitio durante unas horas)? Or is "recodo del molino viejo" a completely different thing? As far as I can see this "recodo del molino viejo" is never shown in the movie because the plan completely failed.

The scene in question starts at 14.15.

Thank you.

You're right, "el recodo del molino viejo" is a bend in the road next to a derelict mill, the ideal place for an ambush but not necessarily for keeping the kidnapee.

Michael, here is an image of an antique mill that might be similar to what they had in mind in the movie. You'll see how there is room to hide, but not necessarily to keep a kidnapped person.
