Whwre is this guy from? He pronounces his s's like z's. Is he a native or not?

Dimitri Papanikas
Greek name, born in Sardinia -Sardinian is an Italian dialect but quite different- and studying and living in Northern Italy (Bologna), and living in Madrid and Buenos Aires. His accent has a lot of foreign elements, but it's a very nice and idiosyncratic mescolanza.
